If you are looking for a nurturing, loving environment for your child, you have found the right place. Barkly House was initially established in 1977 as an additonal demonstration school for the Teacher’s Training College.

Even though it has been operating autonomously since 1990, it continues to provide outstanding pre-primary education for young learners. At the beginning of 2017, the school moved into new premises in Newlands, where parents are warmly welcomed by the Principal, Jeni Reid and her staff.
